Palisade
Announces 20th Anniversary
Risk Short Course Series
Ithaca, NY - July 20, 2004. In celebration of twenty years of software innovation, Palisade is hosting a series of short courses held in major cities in North America and Europe designed to introduce powerful quantitative risk and decision analysis techniques. The courses are free of charge and incorporate hands-on learning using industry-leading Palisade software tools @RISK and the DecisionTools Suite. Real-world applications in a variety of industries are covered, and the classes are geared toward anyone who works with Excel and faces risk or uncertainty. Each event will be one day in length, with a three-hour session in the morning and again in the afternoon.
According to Palisade President and CEO Sam McLafferty, “Risk analysis has come a long way in the last twenty years, and we have seen our customer base grow accordingly. However, quantitative risk analysis is still a new concept for many decision makers. We could think of no better way to mark twenty years in the industry than by offering free education on the techniques to those who haven’t yet seen them.”
The 20th Anniversary Risk Short Course Series begins this fall and is expected to run through summer 2005.
