Palisade Offers Special Focus Public Seminars
Ithaca, NY - June 28, 2004. Capitalizing on the growing popularity of its general risk assessment seminars, Palisade Corporation is adding special focus classes in areas such as corporate finance and project management.
“Our clients come from many different industries,” says Palisade Vice President of Services Randy Heffernan. “Sectors as diverse as oil and gas, investment houses, and construction firms can all benefit from our @RISK and DecisionTools Suite software tools.” As such, the company has responded to the specific needs of such sectors with risk assessment classes focusing on oil and gas, project management, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
The consultants who teach the Palisade special focus seminars are experts in their respective fields. Jim Murtha, who teaches oil and gas risk classes, has trained over 2500 petroleum professionals; Domingo Joaquin, who presents courses on corporate finance, has authored numerous articles and is cited by The New York Times, Money magazine, and others.
The formula appears to be working, with Palisade offering more special focus seminars in 2004 than in any previous year. Remarked Waymon Lofton of Fluor Corporation, one recent recipient of Palisade oil and gas training: “Risk analysis within Fluor has moved up to a different level because of Palisade training on the software.”
Established in 1997, Palisade’s risk assessment seminar series has grown to include public seminars in most major cities in North America, the UK and Australia. The classes are two or three days in length and cover the concepts, methodologies, and tools required to perform sound risk analyses.
