Palisade Expands Overseas Seminar Offerings

Ithaca, NY - June 21, 2004. Palisade Corporation has recently expanded its public risk training seminar offerings to a number of new geographic markets, including Australia, New Zealand, and Costa Rica. Building on the success of its growing risk analysis seminar series, the software company is responding to the needs vocalized by an increasing number of international clients.

According to Palisade Vice President of Services Randy Heffernan, “More and more, companies in these markets are coming to us demanding risk assessment training classes. They know the Palisade software @RISK and DecisionTools Suite can help them, but they want to be shown how, in person. And, they want it from the makers of the software – direct from the source.”

Recent sold-out seminars have taken place in Sydney, Australia and San Jose, Costa Rica. The Costa Rican seminar was held in Spanish, a trend the company plans to continue in the Latin American market. Other locations planned for 2004 include Perth and Melbourne, Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand.

Established in 1997, Palisade’s risk assessment seminar series has grown to include public seminars in most major cities in North America and the UK. The classes are two or three days in length and cover the concepts, methodologies, and tools required to perform sound risk analyses. Says Heffernan, “Ultimately, our clients need to be able to make better decisions: decisions based on quantifiable analysis.”
